Men throughout the U.S. are filing low testosterone therapy claims against Axiron, AndroDerm, AndroGel and others. Plaintiffs allege that these low testosterone treatments caused heart attacks, strokes and other cardiovascular events. As cases pile up, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation recently agreed to establish a multidistrict litigation. This move centralizes all federal low-T product liability claims involving Axiron, Testim, AndroGel and more. After approving this motion, a judge will then transfer all lawsuits over to a single federal jurisdiction for pretrial coordination.

Medical Studies Bolster Heart Attack Allegations in Axiron and Other Low T Treatment Claims
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced an investigation into low testosterone cardiac risks back in January 2014. The agency announced it would review all available low testosterone treatments, including Axiron, AndroGel as well as others. The agency released this statement after two separate studies found these products significantly elevated cardiovascular risks. Researchers reportedly found high rates for heart attacks, strokes and death in men with preexisting cardiovascular issues.
According to court documents, more than 80 low testosterone therapy claims were already filed in U.S. courts. Men claim low testosterone drug manufacturers failed to warn consumers as well as physicians about potentially life-threatening health risks.
